Long Beach Mural Walking Tour including History & Architecture

Famous Joe, Long Beach artist and critic, will guide you to see 25 murals and provide critical commentary revealing hidden message the artists communicate in their images.  He will tell you about some of the history of the Long Beach and review a variety of architectural styles in the downtown area.  For visitors, he will give you information about activities in the downtown area.  Learn about boom town Long Beach of the roaring '20s, when oil was king, the Port was in development, and the airline industry was just taking off.

The downtown tour starts and ends in front of the Marriott on Pine and Ocean.  It's 3500 steps, 90 minutes and takes place Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays by reservation at 2:00 and 4:00 pm and by appointment (text numbers below)
